HMNTY Terms of Service

Agreement

By using HMNTY ("the App"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use HMNTY. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Your Account

• You're responsible for your account and everything that happens under it
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Don't create fake accounts or impersonate others

Acceptable Use

Don't use HMNTY to:

• Harass, threaten, or bully other users
• Post illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
• Spam or promote scams
• Violate anyone's privacy or intellectual property
• Organize illegal activities

Activities & Events

• HMNTY is a platform for connecting people — we don't organize or host events ourselves
• Attend events at your own risk and use good judgment
• HMNTY is not liable for anything that happens at events arranged through the app
• Event hosts are responsible for their events and attendees' safety

Content

• You own the content you post (photos, messages, activity descriptions)
• By posting, you grant HMNTY a license to display your content within the app
• We can remove content that violates these terms

Paid Features

Subscriptions

• HMNTY offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions: HMNTY Pro (monthly or annual), Influencer Pro (monthly), HMNTY Business (monthly), and HMNTY Brand (monthly or annual). The exact title, length, and price of each plan are shown on the purchase screen in the app before you buy.
• Subscriptions renew automatically. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Any unused portion of a free trial, where offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Subscription purchases made through Apple are governed by Apple's terms; refund requests for those purchases are handled by Apple, not HMNTY.

Creator subscriptions

• Creators may offer paid subscriptions ("Creator Pass") that unlock their exclusive posts and perks. These are auto-renewing subscriptions billed through Apple on the same terms as above.
• Perks are provided by the individual creator. HMNTY does not guarantee a creator's posting frequency or continued participation. If a creator stops posting, you may cancel at any time; HMNTY does not issue retroactive refunds for creator subscriptions.

Tickets and paid events

• Hosts set their own ticket prices. HMNTY charges hosts a platform service fee of 10% of the ticket price (reduced to 5% for hosts on an active Business or Brand plan). Payment processing fees are charged separately by Stripe.
• Refunds: if a host cancels an event, ticket holders are refunded automatically. Outside of host cancellation, refunds are at the host's discretion — contact the host first, then support@hmnty.app if unresolved.
• A ticket admits one person and is void once scanned at the door. Do not share or resell your ticket code.

Hosting and payouts

• Hosts who sell tickets receive payouts through Stripe Connect and must complete Stripe's onboarding and identity checks. By accepting payouts you also agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement.
• You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes on money you earn through HMNTY. HMNTY does not withhold taxes on your behalf.
• You must have the right to run the event you post, including any venue permission, permits, or licenses it requires.

Sponsorships

• Businesses may offer to sponsor an event, and hosts may accept, decline, or counter those offers. A sponsorship is an agreement between the sponsor and the host. HMNTY provides the platform and processes payment; it is not a party to the agreement and does not guarantee either side's performance.
• Sponsored content must be disclosed as such where required by law, including the FTC's endorsement guidelines.

Copyright

If you believe content on HMNTY infringes your copyright, email support@hmnty.app with a description of the work, the location of the content in the app, your contact information, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized. We remove infringing content and terminate repeat infringers.

Termination

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

Disclaimer

HMNTY is provided "as is." We're not liable for:

• Interactions between users (online or in person)
• Content posted by users
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Events organized through the platform

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
